The Waffle Bear Romper — Short Sleeve, 66–90
A short-sleeve waffle romper with a small bear face on the chest — one piece, poppers underneath, cool enough for a heatwave. The summer version of the thing you already reach for every morning.
Waffle knit is the point: the texture holds a little air off the skin, so it stays cooler than flat jersey and doesn't cling when your baby gets warm in the pram.
Why parents reach for it
- One piece, no gaps. Nothing rides up at the waist when they're carried or rolling.
- Poppers underneath. A nappy change without undressing them.
- Waffle breathes. Textured rather than flat, so air moves instead of sitting against the skin.
- Stretch that gives. Cotton with elastane — it moves with crawling instead of pulling at the shoulder.
The details
- Cotton and elastane waffle knit
- Short sleeves, round neck, bear face detail, popper opening

Choosing a size
Sized by height in centimetres rather than age, which is far more reliable. Measure from the top of the head to the heel:
- 66 — height 60–68cm, weight 3.5–7kg
- 73 — height 66–75cm, weight 7–10kg
- 80 — height 73–83cm, weight 9–12kg
- 90 — height 83–95cm, weight 11–14kg
Between sizes, or long in the body? Take the larger one. Send us your baby's height and weight and we'll tell you which to order.
In the sun
Short sleeves leave arms and shoulders exposed. Babies under six months should be kept out of direct sunlight altogether; over six months, use shade, a wide-brimmed hat and a sunscreen suitable for their age.
