The Plush Pre-Walker Booties — Bunny & Bear, 0–18 Months

Soft plush booties with a bunny or bear face on the toe, cut above the ankle so they stay on. Pre-walker shoes exist for one reason — warm feet that keep their socks on — and these do that without a stiff sole getting in the way of how a baby's foot is meant to move.

An elasticated band around the ankle holds them in place. No laces, no velcro, nothing to work loose in a pram.

Choosing a size

Sized by age, and they run true. If your baby has wide or chunky feet, or you plan to wear them over thick socks, take the next size up — a bootie that pinches gets pulled off within minutes.

Safety

The soles are soft and have no grip, so they are slippery on hard floors once your baby starts pulling to stand. Bare feet or grip socks are safer indoors at that stage. Check the stitched face before each wear and stop using them if any part works loose.
