Using it safely

Always test the temperature on the inside of your wrist before feeding — it should feel neutral, not warm. Heat unevenly warmed liquid by swirling, never shaking hard. Do not use it to reheat a bottle a second time, and do not leave milk warming unattended or for longer than a feed's worth of time. Warmed milk should be used within the hour and never re-warmed.

Keep the cable away from the cot and out of reach — loose cords are a strangulation risk around babies and toddlers.
